Nick Nanos is the Vice-President of Distribution & Logistics at the LCBO, where he has held numerous progressive leadership positions over 28 years, spanning Retail, Distribution, Finance, Wholesale, Internal Audit, and Logistics. Active in the Supply Chain/Logistics community, Nick sits on the Board of Directors for the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP Toronto Roundtable).
Nick holds an undergraduate degree in Political Studies, a post-graduate certificate in Executive Leadership from Queen’s University, a designation as a Certified Fraud Examiner, as well as the Canadian Institute of Traffic, and Transportation (CITT)-Certified Logistics Professional (CCLP) designation – the gold standard of professional expertise in supply chain logistics. Additionally, Nick attained a Certificate in Logistics Management from Schulich School of Business.
Nick earned the J. Stuart Robertson Memorial Award presented by the Canadian Transportation Education Foundation for achieving the highest academic standing in Transportation Law during his graduating year at the CITT. His beverage alcohol Industry recognition includes the Drinks Ontario Industry Partnership Award given in recognition for his successful efforts in working with industry stakeholders to enhance the profile and enjoyment of beverage alcohol products in the Ontario marketplace. Nick received the award for leading the Specialty Services team in 2011; also in 2015 for his individual contributions to the beverage alcohol industry.
Nick is active in his local community through the Oakville Rotary Club, where he sits on the Board of Directors and is actively involved in various committees and projects focused on improvements to the community in education, housing, and other related initiatives.
